Yesterday was an interesting (in a not good) kind of day, but there were a few things that got me through.
- My new camera body! It’s amazing and beautiful and takes such pretty photographs!
- Baking.
- Friends who come over with the purpose to help you bake/eat whatever you baked.
- Fourth of July family traditions that I have taken over and made my own.
- The fact that eight hours separate me from more than a week of vacation time and my boy!
What are thankful for this Thursday morning?

I'm E.P. I have stylish handwriting. I enjoy a nice cappuccino in the morning. And I am fascinated with capturing life as it is.

Have a good time on holiday!
I’m thankful for so many things today. The awesome dream I had about my dad and my grandparents – they are all deceased, but having them with me in my dreams like that makes me realize they’ll never really be gone. I also woke up to a really sweet email from my parents-in-law wishing me good luck with the final work on my thesis and they asked if they can have a copy when it’s done. I also found some more really helpful criticism in my supervisor’s feedback on my thesis and my boyfriend will be home early today. Plus, I get to go to dance rehearsal again.
The fact that is Thursday morning before a long weekend!
(Never mind the long weekend involves packing – I’m not in an office! Yay!)
I’m thankful for coffee this morning.
I’m thankful for you in my life.
Those are good things to be thankful for!
I’m thankful that my car is fixed and that it didn’t break the bank. I’m also thankful that I’ll have a weekend of fun with friends.
i’m happy for you! i hope lucy got a few of those baked goods
i’m just way too excited for this weekend! j and i are going over to jersey on saturday to watch the new york fireworks from the other side of the river, and on sunday, we’re going to the hamptons to hang out for the day for j’s birthday (which is on the 7th). it’s going to be a good weekend as long as the rain stays away.
I’m thankful for friends. Just when I begin thinking I don’t have many or any in this town, they prove me wrong.
Hopefully today is better for you than yesterday!
I love baking!
I am thankful for my friends. They seriously make my life so much better!
yay for baking! i love baking. so tasty and fun.
Me…? I’m thankful for public transportation that takes me to the farmer’s market, and for wonderful fresh produce the farmer’s market vendor sells.
I hope you’re panning a separate post to tell us what you baked
I’m glad you found a few good things to get you through your day!
Baking + friends who will bake + eat the goods with you = a guaranteed good time.
I proudly would’ve came over to help you eat, as well as some of the homeless on the street.
How is the pup-pup?
