I was incredibly surprised and flattered when I learned that I was nominated for a 20SB Bootleg Award earlier this week. And some of my fave bloggers were nominated, too!

With all the incredible bloggers in 20SB, I came to the conclusion that I stood a chance, and I was OK with that. But alas, y’all have surprised me. In a category that I had NO idea my blog could even be considered a part of, no less. So thank you from the bottom of my heart. It made my sick day a lot brighter.

I feel like I must say that while I don’t write about my job all the time (or expose who I am or where I work on purpose), one of the reasons I started blogging was to write down the ridiculous things people said to me while I am working. Because, really, it’s weird and hilarious and awkward.
