When I was a child, I had major issues with motion sickness. I’m not talking about the occasional I-feel-woozy-and-need-to-lie-down sickness, I’m talking whenever-I-get-in-the-car-I-end-up-vomiting-no-matter-what sickness. Yeah, it sucked. And yeah, it was really gross.
While I’m no longer susceptible to the motion sickness I suffered from as a child, I still hate that feeling. The one you experience right before you lose your stomach. (Sorry, I know that’s disgustingly visual.) And instead of the sickness being brought on by car-riding, nowadays, migraines, food poisoning and stomach bugs have brought on that familiar feeling.
I hate it. Yesterday and today, I’ve been ill with some sort of stomach bug. It hasn’t been fun, and I just want to feel better.
More than anything, I hate calling in sick for work, especially since we’re already understaffed. I hate feeling this way, and I hate lounging around because I don’t feel up to anything else.
Since I’m laid up on the couch, tell me something fun. What’s going on in your worlds? (Y’alls lives have to be more exciting than mine right now.) And what should I attempt to eat today?

I'm E.P. I have stylish handwriting. I enjoy a nice cappuccino in the morning. And I am fascinated with capturing life as it is.
