… I bring you an excerpt from a conversation we shared Monday evening.

ME: “So you’ll never guess what I did today.”

MY BOY: Pausing to think for a moment. “I have NO idea. What did you do today?”

ME: “I bought a domain!”

MY BOY: Laughing. “I love that about you.”

ME: “What about me?”

MY BOY: “The fact that you can call and tell me, ‘You’ll never guess what I did today.’ And I never can because it could be so many things. You could tell me you got a tattoo or a piercing or you yelled at someone or you saw a cute puppy. There are too many options.”

ME: Laughing. “I’m good like that.”
