I went to work and came home early because there wasn’t anything else to do AND my assignment was cancelled.

Lucy and I took a little walk around our apartment complex in the rain.

We also sat in the dark and listened to the rain pitter patter on the roof.

I made turkey chili because the weather deemed it necessary.

I mixed cookie dough for not one, but two batches of separate cookies. Oatmeal chocolate chip and cranberry walnut chocolate chip. (Obviously, the latter is an experiment.)

I will catch up on my reading AND writing. Hopefully?
