In the craziness of my two day Monday-Tuesday weekend and my boy starting law school next week, I decided to come visit him in his new home.
My pup went to the kennel yesterday afternoon (much to my dismay even though the people were awesome), and I was set to go by 6 p.m.
The drive took almost seven hours, and I arrived at 12:45 a.m., but all is well. I do, however, wish my Lucy had been with me simply to sing along (or, more accurately, stare at me with a ‘What the HELL do you think you’re doing’ look whenever I hit a high note).
This morning, I am rested and content in spending a day and a half with my boy before trekking back to semi-rural Mississippi for work Wednesday morning.
I forgot just how incredible this town was. Music City, do you have anything job-related for a girl like me? If so, let me know immediately because you are too fun for me NOT to be here.
I'm E.P. I have stylish handwriting. I enjoy a nice cappuccino in the morning. And I am fascinated with capturing life as it is.

My first visit to Nashville was in May this year for a Sales Meeting and I took my boy with me and we extended our stay over the weekend – So much FUN! =)
Have a great time – Sorry to hear that you had to leave Lucy behind. We have two English Bulldogs and I miss them so much when we travel, but thank goodness we have an in-house dog sitter now.

Hope you’ve been having a blast! I’ve never been out east, but I hear it’s great! I’ll have to add Nashville to my list of places to visit.
My brother-in-law lives outside of Nashville (near Tipp, actually!) but we’ve never gotten to go IN Nashville so it always seems like any other city to me.
Next time, I’ll have to not just play with the kids, I guess.
